October 2015: Mid-Michigan Consulting was a part of a team awarded a USDA Grant for Local Food Promotions Program- Planning spear headed by Wendy Banka, President of Michigan Small Farms Council. This week, I had the pleasure to give a presentation in St Johns, at a regional workshop called “Annie’s Project” with MSU Extension. It is a dynamic program aimed to strengthen business leadership with women in agriculture. This program is offered in more than 34 states. My presentation was three pronged exploring the importance of Branding, Marketing to Customers and Food Hubs.
